Description
Redbreast Mano a Lamh, its name meaning hand in hand, a limited all sherry release of the benchmark single pot still whiskey. Triple distilled at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork and bottled without an age statement in 2015, a run of 2,000 bottles for Ireland.
Unusually for the range, it is matured entirely in first fill Spanish Oloroso sherry casks rather than a bourbon and sherry mix. The pot still mash of malted and unmalted barley keeps its oily, peppery grip under a full sherried character of dried fruit, walnut and old oak. Bottled at 46%.
