A single cask Redbreast, the benchmark single pot still range, distilled at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork in 2002 and bottled at 16 Years Old in 2019. Selected by the Celtic Whiskey Shop for an event release of 600 bottles from a single Oloroso sherry cask, number 34970.
Triple distilled from malted and unmalted barley, the pot still spirit carries pepper, clove and an oily body. Sixteen years in Oloroso build a sherried, tobacco edged depth, with dark chocolate, dried fruit and fresh oak. Bottled without dilution at cask strength, 60.2%.
