Description
The Lustau Edition of Redbreast, now gathered under the distillery's Iberian Series, a partnership with the Jerez bodega Emilio Lustau. Triple distilled at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork and released without an age statement in 2022 for Europe.
The single pot still spirit, mashed from malted and unmalted barley, is matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks and finished in first fill Oloroso seasoned by Lustau. That finish brings chocolate, dried fruit and a sherried depth over vanilla and fresh oak, with the peppery pot still spice underneath. Bottled at 46%.
