A Dream Cask release of Redbreast, the benchmark single pot still, triple distilled at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork and bottled at 30 Years Old in 2022 for the Irish market. It is drawn from two casks, 33794 and 48656, in a run of 714 half litre bottles.
The mash of malted and unmalted barley gives the long aged spirit its oily texture and peppery pot still spice. Three decades in ex-bourbon oak concentrate it into cooked and dried fruit, old wood and a waxy, oily depth. Bottled without dilution at cask strength, 56.9%.
