Description
The fourth Oloroso Sherry Edition of Redbreast's Dream Cask series, a single cask of the benchmark single pot still whiskey. Triple distilled at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork and bottled at 29 Years Old in 2021 for an event release, drawn from cask 400294 into 924 half litre bottles.
The single pot still mash of malted and unmalted barley carries the oily, spicy weight of the style. Matured in ex-bourbon oak and finished in Oloroso sherry, it gathers dark chocolate and dried fruit against fresh orchard fruit and a citric edge. Bottled undiluted at cask strength, 51.2%.
