The sixth batch of Redbreast 27 Years Old, the cask strength summit of the range, triple distilled at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork. It is a global release bottled at full strength from a marriage of ex-bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry butts and ruby port casks.
Mashed from malted and unmalted barley, the single pot still spirit keeps its peppery, oily texture through nearly three decades in wood. The cask trio brings dried and cooked fruit, bright citrus and a fresh, green fragrance over the deep pot still core. Bottled without dilution at cask strength, 55.9%.
