Description
A 500 bottle cask strength edition of Dingle's third small batch, bottled in 2018 for the Irish market at an undiluted 59%. The Co. Kerry distillery ran its first spirit in 2012, and these early full strength releases were tiny, sold mostly through the distillery and Irish independents.
The make up mirrors the standard Batch No. 3: triple distilled single malt from bourbon barrels and Port casks. At full strength the vanilla and red fruit arrive with far more grip, backed by the peppery heat of young spirit and the soft salinity of Atlantic maturation on the Dingle peninsula. A little water pulls it back toward the gentler profile of the batch strength release.
