Description
The fourth small batch of Dingle single malt and the first pitched at a global audience, with 30,000 bottles released in 2019. Triple distilled at the Co. Kerry distillery and matured by the Atlantic on the Dingle peninsula, it widened the reach of a house that had until then sold mostly to the Irish market.
Bourbon, Oloroso sherry and Port casks make up the vatting. Chocolate and malt extract anchor the palate, with sherried dried fruit and fresh oak around them and the lively edge of young spirit underneath. Bottled at 46.5% without chill filtration, it balances that youthful vigour with the honeyed softness Dingle's maritime warehouses tend to give.
