Distilled in 2014, in only the third year of production at Dingle, this single malt spent eight years in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks in the distillery's warehouses on the Co. Kerry coast. It was bottled in 2022 as a 312 bottle release for Germany, one of the vintage dated cask bottlings through which Dingle shares its maturing inventory.
PX is the sweetest of the sherry casks, and eight years of full contact give the malt a deep seam of fig, raisin and dark toffee over the honeyed orchard fruit Dingle's triple distilled spirit typically carries. Bottled without dilution at 59.7%, it pours dark and rich, the maritime freshness of the Atlantic warehouse keeping all that sherried weight from turning heavy.
