Description
Dingle fired up its three small pot stills in 2012, one of the first movers of Ireland's distilling revival, and ages everything on site in Co. Kerry where Atlantic air works on the casks year round. This 10 Years Old, released for Europe in 2025, is among the most mature whiskeys the distillery has yet bottled, a triple distilled single malt from its own make.
The vatting runs 65% ex-bourbon casks, 30% Port and 5% Pedro Ximenez, and the recipe shows, honeyed malt and citrus from the bourbon wood, red berry depth from the Port and a nutty, figgy shading from the PX. Bottled at 46.5%, it carries the fresh fruit, new wood and gentle salinity that a decade beside the sea tends to leave in the house style.
