Yoichi Distillery Limited is a Japan-only, 500ml expression available only through the Yoichi distillery itself, located on the Sea of Japan coast of Hokkaido and owned by Nikka, a subsidiary of Asahi. Listed as a blend, it is a distillery-limited bottling drawing on the Yoichi site's characteristic spirit, matured in Ex-Bourbon casks.
The profile centres on citrus, malt extract and vanilla, with the faint maritime smoke that defines the Yoichi house character from coal-fired direct distillation present in the background. Bottled at 40%, it is the most accessible point in the Yoichi range and is a sought-after souvenir for visitors to the Hokkaido distillery.
