Description
Vecindad Tequila Blanco is a 100% Blue Weber tequila built for the bar, started in 2016 by two friends who wanted a playful, modern label for the Paris cocktail scene. It is produced in Jalisco at Destileria Leyros, the same house that makes Casa Dragones, with a stated focus on sustainability and resource-careful production. Bottled unaged at 43%, it is meant to show the agave bright and lively in longer drinks.
The nose is herbal and vegetal with fresh cut agave, a quiet citrus lift and a touch of white pepper. The palate stays soft and green, fresh agave first, then a flash of citrus fruit and a cool undertone of mint and white pepper. With no cask weight to round it off, this is a clean, agave-forward style that reads at home in a highball as much as in the glass.
