Description
V8+ makes this Lele as a Prosecco Rose, the pink category of the DOC that pairs Glera with Pinot Nero. The blend is at least 85 percent Glera supported by 10 to 15 percent Pinot Nero, which is vinified as red wine to give the colour, red fruit and a little more structure. It is a single-vintage Millesimato, made by the tank method to keep the fruit fresh and the bead fine, and finished at a Brut dosage for a dry, lively balance between fruit and acidity. The magnum favours an even development of the perlage.
The colour is a delicate salmon pink with a fine, even, long-lasting bead. The nose is expressive, with strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant over subtle floral accents and a touch of white peach. The palate is fresh, lively and dry, with a clear fruit structure and an animating finish. Serve well chilled at around 6 to 8 degrees. It works as an aperitif and alongside antipasti, light salads and fish or poultry dishes.
