Description
V8+ makes Carlo as a millesimato Prosecco DOC from 100 percent Glera, the grapes drawn entirely from the 2025 vintage so the wine reflects a single year. It is produced by the tank method, the second fermentation running in pressurised stainless steel under controlled temperature rather than in bottle. Keeping the wine in tank and off oak preserves Glera's fresh orchard fruit and floral character, and the brut dosage keeps it dry and clean, a shade crisper than an extra dry. This is a modern, fruit driven style built for early drinking.
The colour is pale straw with a fine, persistent bead. The nose leads with green apple, pear and lemon over white flowers, with white peach and a twist of citrus peel behind. The palate is light and lively, dry and fresh, the soft mousse carrying the fruit to a clean finish. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees in a white wine glass or flute. It makes a straightforward aperitif and suits antipasti, light salads, white fish and delicate shellfish.
