Description
The European release of The Blender's Cut at 64%, the Two Stacks blend bottled at the strength the blender actually works with. The stock is distilled at The Great Northern Distillery in Dundalk, Co. Louth, and the bonder's approach is openly declared: no invented heritage, just sourced Irish whiskey and a deliberate cask recipe.
Virgin oak contributes fresh vanilla and a peppery sawmill spice, Ex-Bourbon barrels give toffee and soft coconut, and Ex-Oloroso sherry casks supply fig, raisin and walnut depth. Taken neat it is intense and gripping, all concentrated oak and barley sugar, while water opens a gentler side of orchard fruit and honey. A blend for drinkers who like to do the diluting themselves, one drop at a time.
