Tipperary Boutique is a family farm distillery in Co. Tipperary bottling single malt at natural strength. This single cask, number SM0B0068, was distilled in 2017 and bottled five years later, matured in a first fill Rioja wine cask and released for the German market.
A full term in Spanish red wine oak leaves the whiskey stained toward red berry and dark plum, with toasted malt underneath and a fine tannic edge. Bottled at 51.7% without dilution, it carries the firm, wine led weight the distillery favours, a young single malt that takes its colour and much of its character from one active cask.
