This 13 Years Old single malt, single cask RC250, is a sourced Irish malt bottled by Tipperary Boutique, the Ahern family distillery in Co. Tipperary. Distilled in 2008 and released in 2021 for the German market, it is a single cask release.
An ex-bourbon maturation finished in a Rioja wine cask brings red berry fruit and a gentle tannic grip over vanilla and honeyed malt. Bottled at a natural 50% without dilution, it stays balanced and fruit driven, the wine cask finishing older sourced stock chosen by the Tipperary bonder.
