This single cask 2008, cask 2008_008, is a 14 Years Old sourced Irish single malt in the Boutique Selection from Tipperary Boutique, the Ahern family distillery in Co. Tipperary. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2022 for the German market, it was limited to 350 bottles.
Sherry cask maturation with a Rioja wine finish layers dried fig, red berry and walnut over honeyed malt and soft oak spice. Bottled at a natural 49.5% without dilution, it is full and wine inflected, older sourced stock selected and finished by the Tipperary bonding house.
