Carlow base is a run of 8400 bottles, matured in ex bourbon oak and held back from the dilution that would bring it to standard strength.
Ex bourbon American oak keeps the profile bright and malt led, with citrus, vanilla and a note of fresh wood over a clean cereal core. At 55.3% and without water, the single malt shows more grip and intensity than the standard house bottling, a straightforward, bourbon matured Irish malt made for those who want it at full power.
