Description
Rising Reserve is Teeling's series of high age statement single malts marking the revival of Dublin whiskey, and No. 3, released in 2024, continues the line at 21 Years Old. Whiskey of this age long predates the 2015 Newmarket distillery, so this is mature malt the family selected, finished and bottled under its own label, with 6,000 bottles for global release.
Maturation ran through ex-bourbon barrels before ruby Port pipes added a second act of red berry, plum and gentle tannin over the malt extract sweetness at the whiskey's core. Bottled at 46%, it balances two decades of soft vanilla oak against wine cask fruit, finishing long on dried strawberry, cocoa and baking spice.
