Tatratea Outlaw stands at the very top of the Slovak tea liqueur range from the Tatra mountains, bottled at a fierce 72%. Like the rest of the range it is made with black tea from India, oak chips and selected herbs and spices in the modern Tatratea style, drawn from the Tatra tradition of simple herbal infusions of honey, herbs and alcohol. What sets this one apart is its sheer strength, the most potent rung on the ladder.

The nose is fruity with sweet flowers, raspberries, lavender and blackberries. The palate brings black tea, mountain herbs, fruit and berries, the finish long with berry fruit. At 72% it is an intense concentrate, so only the smallest measure is needed and balance must be handled with care. It delivers powerful berry and floral character, herbal depth and tannic tea grip, capable of carrying a drink on a tiny pour or adding a high octane lift to a long build over plenty of ice. It can be served neat or stirred into tea for the brave. Approach the strength with caution when mixing.
