Tatratea Original Tea Liqueur

Tatratea Original is the flagship of the Slovak tea liqueur range from the Tatra mountains, a tea based herbal liqueur bottled at 52%. It is made from purified alcohol, black tea, extracts of high mountain herbs, selected fruit extracts and distillates, real sugar and pure mountain water from the Tatra mountains. That combination of tea, herbs and Tatra water gives it depth and a clear sense of place, and sets the reference point that the rest of the range varies around.

The nose is black tea, mountain herbs, raspberries and fine fruity notes. The palate is sweet and intense with candied honey, strong tea, woody herbs and fresh fruit accents, the finish long and warm with a clear tea flavour and light herbal spice. As the core expression it carries plenty of flavour and a firm strength, contributing honeyed sweetness, tannic tea structure and herbal depth to a drink. It works as a digestif neat or lightly chilled, and anchors tea forward cocktails and long drinks. It pairs with honey cake, dark chocolate, berry desserts and spiced biscuits. Serve neat, chilled or over ice.
