Tatratea Citrus Tea Liqueur

Tatratea is a Slovak tea liqueur range from the Tatra mountains, built on black tea plus mountain herbs across a broad strength ladder. The Citrus edition sits in the middle at 32%, made in the house style with black tea, oak shavings and selected herbs and spices, here turned toward fresh citrus and green herbs rather than the darker or fruitier expressions. It carries the same Tatra heritage of simple herbal infusions reworked into a modern liqueur.

The nose is intense Assam tea with lemongrass, mint and verbena. The palate is balanced, citrus led over sweet black tea, the finish long. This is the brightest member of the range, and the mid strength keeps it easy to pour and balance. It contributes citrus lift, herbal freshness and tannic black tea structure to a drink, cutting sweetness and adding aroma. It works neat or on ice, stirred into a favourite tea, or as the citrus and tea backbone of a cocktail or long drink. A natural fit for refreshing summer serves over plenty of ice.
