Taco Tuesday Tequila Blanco, the Piñata Edition, is a 100% Blue Weber tequila best known for its eye catching, hand made ceramic bottle shaped as a colourful donkey piñata. It is produced from Blue Weber agave at NOM 1438, Casa Maestri, in Jalisco, a very large multi brand facility in the town of Tequila.
This is a competent commercial blanco rather than an estate or tahona showcase, and it plays to that strength with a fresh, approachable profile. Steam cooked agave keeps the focus on baked agave sweetness rather than smoke. The nose offers fresh agave with citrus and green herbs, while the palate shows clear agave, lime peel and a touch of black pepper. At 40% it is a bright, easy pouring tequila built as much around the novelty bottle as the liquid inside.
