Description
Schoenbrunn Vienna Goldener Engel Truffle Cream Liqueur is a cream liqueur from Vienna Spirits Food and Beverage in Austria, bottled at 15%. It combines truffle with bourbon vanilla over a creamy base, the flavour lifted by Marc de Champagne for an added note of elegance. As a dairy cream emulsion it belongs to the chilled, finite life category, soft and rich on the palate rather than an aged spirit, and it leans firmly into the dessert end of the back bar.
The nose is a delicate bouquet of bourbon vanilla underpinned with fine truffle, while the palate is creamy and delicate with sweet vanilla and truffle flavours, refined by a light champagne note, before a soft, lingering finish of warm truffle and vanilla. In a drink it brings body, sweetness and a savoury edged vanilla depth with cocoa and coffee in the profile, the kind of cream liqueur that turns a simple build into a dessert in a glass. It is ideal neat, chilled or over ice to show the creamy texture, and works as a base for rich after dinner cocktails or as a refining note in coffee serves. Once opened, treat it as a dairy product, keep it refrigerated and use within a finite window.
