Samaroli is a historic Italian purist bottler known for elegant, balanced rums at deliberately reduced proof, and this Rhapsody release draws on Worthy Park spirit from the 2015 vintage, bottled at 45%.
No formal notes are published for this edition. Worthy Park is a 100% pot still single estate with clean, precise, moderate ester character, and Samaroli's gentle reduction in strength tends to favour balance and drinkability over raw power. Expect polished tropical fruit, banana and a restrained funk over light oak, with none of the divisive solvent intensity of the island's highest marques. It reads as a refined, approachable Jamaican shaped as much by the bottler's style as the estate's.
