Puschkin comes from the Berentzen Group, a German drinks house that has been turning out branded spirits for decades, and the Celebrate You Limited Edition is a special-occasion dressing of its standard vodka. The liquid is built on a neutral grain alcohol cut with particularly pure water, then taken through a multi-stage filtration that strips out fusel oils and rough edges for a clean, even base. Bottled at 37.5%, a touch below the usual 40%, it sits on the softer, more approachable side, which is exactly what a long-drink vodka should do.
The nose is restrained and close to neutral, with only faint alcohol and a clean edge. The palate is mild and balanced with a soft, lightly structured feel, and the finish is short to medium and tidy rather than warming. This is a vodka that wants company, so pour it into a tall Vodka Lemon over plenty of ice, lengthen it with bitter lemon and a wedge of fresh lime, and let the sharp citrus carry the mild base across a crowded room.
