Poli BOMB Eierlikör is an Italian egg liqueur from Poli, a historic Veneto distillery founded in 1898 and best known for its grappa and liqueur range. Built on fresh eggs, fine sugar and the house distillates and bottled at 17%, it follows the traditional egg liqueur style: egg yolk blended with spirit and sugar, rested to a thick, custardy texture. Careful processing gives it its particularly creamy consistency and full bodied flavour.
The nose is intense, with fresh vanilla, egg yolk and fine cream over a gentle sweetness, while the palate is soft, full bodied and creamy, balancing vanilla, caramel and a hint of spice before a smooth finish with subtle alcoholic warmth. As an egg emulsion it brings weight, custard richness and a pale golden colour to a drink, ideal for dessert serves and coffee. It folds naturally into tiramisu, panna cotta or custard, and pours neat, on ice or slightly warmed. Treat it as a dairy and egg product: keep it chilled once opened and use within a finite window.
