Petovia Mentol Aromatiziran Sladki Liker

Petovia Mentol Aromatiziran Sladki Liker is a mint led herbal liqueur from the Petovia range, made at Ptujska klet in Ptuj, Slovenia. It pairs the cooling freshness of mint and menthol with a harmonious sweetness, sitting at the fresh, peppermint end of the herbal spectrum rather than the bittersweet one, and is bottled at 22% by volume in a 1 litre bottle.

The nose is intense and slightly sweet with mint, the palate sweet, refreshing and full of menthol, closing long with cool mint, all carried over a quieter base of anise, wormwood, gentian and liquorice. In a drink it brings a clean menthol lift and sweetness, useful for cooling cocktails, long drinks and summer serves. It works as a refreshing digestif on its own and pairs well with fresh fruit desserts such as sorbet and fruit salad, as well as creamy ones like chocolate mousse and cheesecake.
