Description
This boxed set holds three 50 ml Patron tequilas, a blanco, a reposado and an anejo, offered as a small flight through one of the most widely sold tequila brands in the United States. Patron was founded in 1989 and is made in Jalisco from 100% Blue Weber agave at its Atotonilco distillery, where dozens of tahonas and copper pots run alongside roller milling.
The set is built to show what ageing does to a single house style. The blanco leads with cooked agave, lime and white pepper, the reposado adds soft honey and a gentle straw colour from months in oak, and the anejo brings vanilla and light caramel from a year or more in barrel. Each is bottled at 40%, and tasting them together makes the slow shift from agave-forward to oak-shaped easy to read.
