Opihr traces its bottles along the old spice routes, and the European Edition turns that idea homeward, built around ingredients tied to Europe's own spice-trade history. Distilled by G&J Distillers using the classic London Dry method, it leans on cascarilla bark for a spicy, herbaceous backbone alongside myrrh and a chorus of citrus and herbs. This release ships in a gift box with a travel mug, a companion for the road.
The nose is fresh citrus and myrrh laced with the spice of cascarilla bark and a herbal edge. The palate is complex and lively, spicy and floral notes given real depth by that bark, before a long, peppery finish with a refreshing citrus lift.
