Oliver & Oliver Ron Quorhum Encanto 13 Solera is a Dominican Republic rum from the island's noted blending house, built as a solera blend rather than a single aged spirit. The 13 on the label refers to the oldest component in the system, not a maturation age, so this is mostly younger rum carrying a trace of older stock.

Distilled from molasses and built through fractional solera blending, it is heavily roasted in character: chocolate, coffee and toast on the nose, then chocolate, coffee and mocha across the palate, finishing sweet and spicy with dried fruit and an oily texture. Like much of the Quorhum range it drinks distinctly sweet, with light sugarcane and spice running through, and the brand's style points to dosage behind that smoothness.
