Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine Margarita is a flavoured moonshine liqueur from the Ole Smoky distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Ole Smoky is a Tennessee moonshine brand that built its name on clear corn spirit once made outside the law in the Smoky Mountains and now distilled under a state licence, with a wide line of fruit and cocktail flavours layered over that base. This bottling translates the margarita into liqueur form at 20% by volume in a 500 ml bottle, putting lime and a sweet finish in a single pour.

The nose is fresh and limey, the palate carrying margarita flavours with clear notes of lime over a backing of vanilla, honey, cream and caramel. In a drink it does the work of both spirit and mixer, adding tart citrus and rounded sweetness so a short serve comes together fast. The house pour is simply over ice with a slice of lime and a pinch of salt, and it can also lengthen into a soda or lemonade based cooler.
