Rose petals, ripe peach and raspberry lead here, with juniper kept to a soft murmur underneath. The Nolet family have distilled in Schiedam for over 330 years, and this silver-stoppered gin rewrites the rulebook by putting fruit and flowers ahead of the pine. Elegant, lightly spiced and built for a French 75.

Description
The Nolet distillery in Schiedam has been in the same family for more than three centuries, and Dry Gin Silver is the work of its tenth and eleventh generations. Rather than lean on the usual juniper dominance, they let Turkish rose, peach and raspberry take the lead, an unusual and deliberately modern signature that gives the gin a notable lightness for its 47.6 percent strength.
The nose is all rose petal, fresh peach and ripe raspberry over a faint spice. The palate is soft and elegant, fruity sweetness and floral nuance balanced by a gentle juniper warmth, with a long, lightly spiced finish trailing flowers. Pour it into a French 75, or keep it long in a gin and tonic with dry tonic and a few fresh raspberries to echo the fruit.
