New Yarmouth runs pot and column stills and has become an emerging high-ester darling of independent bottlers, so expect robust tropical fruit, spice and pronounced funk from its pot still distillate.
Matured in ex-bourbon oak and bottled at cask strength, 67.2%, this is a long-aged, full-proof single cask in the natural Kill Devil style, non-chill-filtered with nothing added. Nearly three decades of ageing builds deep oak and dried fruit around the loud esters, while the high strength keeps everything concentrated and intense.
