Description
Mozart Chocolate Coffee is a cream liqueur from the Mozart Distillerie in Salzburg, the Austrian house long given to chocolate liqueurs. It joins fine chocolate and aromatic coffee in a dairy cream emulsion at 17% in the 500ml bottle, built on Belgian chocolate, Arabica coffee extract and fresh cream. As a cream liqueur it is a dairy product once opened, best kept chilled and used within a few months.
The nose is intense cocoa with freshly roasted coffee and a hint of vanilla, the palate full bodied and creamy with dark chocolate, strong coffee and a subtle sweetness, the finish long and smooth with lingering cocoa and espresso. Behind the bar it adds cocoa, coffee roast and a soft dairy body, a natural fit for an Espresso Martini or a chocolate forward dessert cocktail, and it pours neat over ice. It also pairs with dark chocolate, Florentines and creamy cake classics such as Black Forest gateau.
