Minttu Peppermint Original Liqueur

Minttu Peppermint Original at 40% is the stronger expression of Finland's clear peppermint liqueur, made from a high quality alcohol, natural peppermint flavouring and crystal clear water from Finland. It embodies the cool, clean Scandinavian style, a colourless liqueur whose purist character comes through in its clear appearance and intense mint, with no sugar crystals to cloud it. At full strength it stays pleasantly smooth despite the power.

The nose is fresh and intense with pure peppermint, the palate strong and refreshing with a dominant mint note, slightly sweet and clearly structured, finishing long, cooling and minty fresh. Behind the bar it works as a clean, powerful mint note, adding a strong cooling menthol lift without heavy sugar, which makes it a useful base for mint cocktails and a quick way to bring a cold edge to a stirred or shaken drink. It is classically served iced as a shot straight from the freezer, stirred into hot chocolate or coffee. Serve it very cold.
