Description
The 2026 Vintage Release of Midleton Very Rare, the latest in Irish Distillers' annual signed blend produced at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork since 1984. It brings together mature triple distilled pot still and grain whiskey, chosen and married by the master distiller, unpeated and made for polish rather than power.
Matured in ex-bourbon American oak, it shows vanilla, orchard fruit and a gentle baking spice from the pot still component, finishing honeyed and smooth at 40%. It holds the Cork house style, fruit and silky texture over sherried weight, a current edition of a long established range.
