Description
The 2025 Vintage Release continues the annual line Irish Distillers has issued since 1984, each edition signed by hand by the master distiller at Midleton. It blends older single pot still and grain whiskeys, triple distilled at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork, released for Europe.
Maturation runs in ex-bourbon American oak, which frames vanilla and honey alongside dried fruit, a leathery note and the fresh oak of newer wood. At 40% the whiskey is soft and layered, the aged grain rounding the pot still spice into the orchard fruit and silky texture of the Midleton house, unpeated with a nutty, tobacco tinged close.
