The 2024 Vintage Release continues Midleton Very Rare's run as Irish Distillers' annual prestige blend, produced and signed at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork since 1984. It gathers older triple distilled pot still and grain whiskey, the pot still contributing spice and weight while the grain lends a soft, honeyed lift.
Matured in American oak, it carries vanilla and honey alongside orchard fruit, a touch of dried fruit and a nutty, citrus edge, unpeated and polished at 40%. It sits firmly in the Cork house style, orchard fruit and silky texture rather than heavy sherry, an elegant modern edition.
