This single malt was distilled at Midleton in East Cork in 1995 and bottled at 25 Years Old in 2020 by Irish Distillers. It comes from a single first fill bourbon cask, number 980, at cask strength, with 264 bottles released for the European market.
A quarter century in first fill American oak builds a honeyed, lightly chocolatey depth over the malt, with soft orchard fruit and a gentle, waxy oak spice. Bottled undiluted at 53.4%, triple distilled and unpeated in the Midleton house style, mellow and full from long ageing.
