Description
A single cask single pot still whiskey distilled at Midleton in East Cork in 1997 and bottled at 15 Years Old in 2012 by Irish Distillers. It comes from one first fill bourbon cask, number 7102, at cask strength, with 228 bottles released for the Irish market.
The first fill American oak lends vanilla and coconut to the pot still spirit, distilled from malted and unmalted barley for its hallmark green apple, barley sugar and peppery, oily spice. Bottled undiluted at 51.8%, triple distilled and unpeated, a full strength expression of classic Midleton pot still.
