Malibu Watermelon is a fruity, exotic variant of the coconut rum liqueur Malibu, made by Pernod Ricard in Barbados where the brand originated. It joins the creamy, sweet flavour of coconut to the refreshing lightness of juicy watermelon over a smooth rum base refined with natural flavours, and is bottled at a mild 21% for an easy, summery profile.

The nose is sweet coconut, ripe watermelon and a hint of tropical fruit, the palate creamy, fruity and refreshing with a harmonious interplay of coconut and watermelon, finishing soft, mild and summery fresh with a fruity aftertaste. Behind the bar it brings coconut and watermelon flavour, sweetness and a soft body, which makes it a ready base for fruity summer drinks with lemonade, tonic or ginger ale. Combined with prosecco and fresh berries it makes a tangy aperitif, while pineapple juice and crushed ice turn it into a tropical smoothie. Serve it neat over ice or long in a tall fruity serve.
