Limuni Il Limoncello del Sud is a lemon liqueur from southern Italy, made to a traditional recipe by Distilleria F.lli Caffo and bottled at 28% in a one litre format. Only hand picked lemons are used, their peels macerated in alcohol to release the essential oils and natural flavours, a deliberate process that gives the liqueur an intense citrus character with a harmonious interplay of sweetness and fresh acidity.

The nose is fresh lemon zest with fine essential oils and subtle herbal and floral notes, the palate sweet, refreshing and full bodied with lemon and a balance of sweetness and acidity, finishing long, slightly creamy and naturally citrus fresh. Behind the bar it brings full lemon flavour and a sweet citrus lift, balancing a sour or lengthening a long drink. It is traditionally served ice cold as a digestif, straight from the fridge or over ice, and makes a ready base for a Limoncello Spritz with prosecco or a summer cocktail.
