Description
La Liqueur de Monin Saveur Melon Vert is a green melon liqueur from Monin, the French syrup and liqueur house based in Bourges. It carries the flavour of green honeydew melon at 20% in the 700ml bottle, built on natural fruit extracts in the traditional macerated style for an intense aroma, a bright green colour and a tropical, fruity lightness.
The nose is ripe honeydew, freshly cut, with a fruity sweetness and a slightly floral undertone, the palate sweet, round and juicy with an intense melon flavour and a light freshness, the finish soft and fruity with a lingering melon note. In a mix it adds soft melon fruit, sweetness and a vivid green colour that does visual work in the glass, the reason it carries a Melon Martini, a Midori style Sour or a Green Lagoon. It also brings exotic freshness to a prosecco or tonic spritz, and flavours desserts.
