Whiskymax bottled this 4 year old 2016 Knockdhu for its Idols of Scotland range from a Marsala cask, number 9411, an outturn of 450 bottles for Germany. A very young independent bottling of the distillery at Knock, in Banffshire, which sells its own malt as anCnoc.
Inver House fired the stills again in 1989. The make is light and fruity. Matured in a Marsala cask, the fortified wine wood adds a caramelised sweetness to the young malt.
Bottled at 46.5%. The Marsala gives caramelised brown sugar and dried fruit over the fresh malt. The recorded note is a cooked vegetable edge. A young Marsala-matured independent bottling.
