Chorlton Whisky bottled this 18 year old Knockdhu in ex-Bourbon at cask strength, an outturn of 179 bottles for Italy. Knockdhu in the Banffshire countryside markets its own whisky as anCnoc, so independents fall back on the distillery name.
Inver House restarted production in 1989. Matured in ex-Bourbon over eighteen years, the wood deepens the malt at full strength.
Bottled without dilution at 58.9%. Bourbon oak gives vanilla and coconut, with the full strength pushing the fruit forward. An older independent single cask.
