Jameson United is a 2022 limited edition of the flagship blend, released by Irish Distillers for the UK around a football and togetherness theme. The whiskey inside is the standard marriage of single pot still and grain from Midleton in East Cork, triple distilled and unpeated, under a special label.
Ex-bourbon barrels lead the maturation, giving vanilla, soft toffee and a wash of green apple over the smooth house texture. Bottled at 40%, it is light and sociable, the gentle grain sweetness and mild pot still spice of the Midleton profile making it an approachable pour for the occasion.
