Description
This 2025 edition of Jameson Triple Triple continues the theme of triple distillation matched to three cask types, released by Irish Distillers for the European market. It blends single pot still and grain whiskey from Midleton in East Cork, unpeated and light in the house manner.
Maturation spans ex-bourbon barrels, sherry casks and chestnut wood, an unusual third component that brings a dry, faintly tannic spice alongside the vanilla of bourbon oak and the dried fruit of sherry. At 40% it drinks smooth, the orchard fruit and soft grain of Midleton framed by a layered, gently spiced finish.
