A 2020 St. Patrick's Day release of Jameson, prepared by Irish Distillers for the German market. The blend joins single pot still and grain whiskey distilled at Midleton in East Cork, triple distilled and unpeated, in the everyday recipe under a seasonal label.
Ex-bourbon maturation leads the profile, with vanilla, light toffee and orchard fruit carried on the smooth Midleton texture. At 40% the whiskey is soft and sociable, the grain sweetness and faint pot still spice making it an accessible pour marked for the occasion.
